Whether you are deciding between carriers for a fully insured plan or between administrators for a self-insured benefit, your choice of vendor can have a significant impact on plan performance. If you are looking to add a new benefit or considering a possible vendor change, ACS can advise you in vendor selection or manage the entire process for you. Here are some of the steps that ACS will perform:
Determine how many and which vendors to solicit.
Develop the request for proposal (RFP) questionnaire.
Evaluate RFP responses to determine the strengths and weaknesses of each vendor, including cost, quality, and overall service.
For self-insured plans, we also provide a full network analysis, including network discounts, network access (the percent of employees with access to a network provider), and participant disruption (the percent of employees who will have to switch providers in order to remain in the new network).
Determine the vendor that best meets all your objectives.
